Q: Are all your products authentic?
A: All products sold through our platform go through a tight selection and authentication process. Our team members are equipped with extensive knowledge and experience for the authentication process. Even so, as an independent platform which connects buyers and sellers, we are not affiliated and sponsored by any brands apart from local brands such as the following:
- Futuresense
- Not For People
- Ode to none
- Hotel
Although all items sold through our platform go through a strict authentication and selection process, we cannot guarantee the authenticity of all items apart from the local brands listed above.
Q: Are items listed here brand new or pre-owned?
BARANGS sells both new and pre-owned items. All pre-owned items go through a tight selection process and only those in pristine condition are sold.
Q: How do I know what sizing to buy?
A: We suggest referring to the original manufacturer’s size guide for comprehensive sizing information. Alternatively, simply visit us in store to try before you buy.
Q: I see two items with the exact same style and size but different price, why the price difference?
A: BARANGS is a consignment store and we take a few things in consideration to arrive at the final price of each item such as:
- Price offered by consignee
- Recent sales of similar items
- Retail value of the item
- Items’ current condition and rarity
Occasionally, there will be different prices for the same items due to the above.
Q: What happens if I have paid for my item online but the product turns out to be out of stock.
BARANGS has both offline and an online platform, and there may be instances where purchases may happen at the same time. We will always update our stocks online in a timely manner but cannot guarantee if there is a disparity in our stock list.
Our items are sold on a first come first serve basis both offline and online. As such, we cannot guarantee online purchases before payment is processed. Your purchase is secured only once payment is received by BARANGS and you will be sent an order confirmation email by us.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
Q: How long does it take to ship?
A: Shipping usually takes up to 1-3 business days after payment confirmation but time will vary depending on the item itself and the listed destination.
Q: How can I track my order?
A: With every order you will receive a notification email when we ship out your order. In that email, there will be a tracking link. Alternatively, you can also head to our website and check the status of your order.
Q: Where do you ship your products from?
A: All items you see online are available on hand and shipped from our BARANGS store location.
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: BARANGS do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is not as described, faulty or fake. We give customers 2 days upon items received to notify us any concerns or complaints through any of our contact details. You will be required to provide a detailed explanation and photos of your concern regarding the item. Our team will then investigate your case and get back to you within 1-2 working days. If the item turns out to be flawed, a refund will be processed to your desired account. Returns caused by a change of mind will not be catered to in any way.
In the case you do not notify the team within 2 days, BARANGS will not be held responsible for the item.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Our website only supports shipments within Indonesia but if you wish to ship internationally, please do not hesitate to contact the team members through email or whatsapp for further assistance.
